Elementary Library Newsletter for February
Well… January 2023 sure didn’t stick around very long, huh? How can it already be time to start thinking about February?? Oh well… help is on the way!
I want to make sure that all of you know about an elementary library newsletter for February.
Leigh Collazo (MrsReaderPants) started it last month, and I’m one of the contributors — along with:
— Laura Trapp (The Trapped Librarian)
— Collette J (Mrs. J in the Library) and
— Cari White (Library Learners).
Each month in our elementary library newsletter, you’ll find awesome library lesson ideas, freebies, book recommendations, library management tips, and so on. Each of us knows that being a school librarian is a real solo act sometimes, but hopefully, our joint effort will help YOU feel like you have a TEAM behind you — cheering you on!
My contributions this month include a blurb about my GroundHUG’s Day and Shadows resource from TpT. (If you love library centers — AND if you need a little research project for your older kids… go take a look at some February fun!)
I’ve also shared THREE FREEBIES with you:
— Mardi Gras bookmarks — Let the Good Times Roll!
— FEBRUARY 20th bookmarks (Whatdya mean you don’t know what holiday that is??!) 🙂
— AND… a Book Character Parade Day Planner
Plus, I recommended a few favorite Black History Month picture books, shared some super cute librarian valentines I found online… and… okay, I forget what else I did… but trust me… you’re gonna want to check this thing out ASAP! (Figuratively speaking, of course. Just click the link!) Truly hope this helps make February a lot easier on you!
